Pierre grew up in Gatineau (QC) and started his sales career in the finance, insurance, and equipment industries.  After 3 years of selling microfilming equipment for 3M his entrepreneurial vision helped him see opportunity in client needs that were not being met.  Clients often communicated that they did not want to buy the equipment; what they really wanted was to have someone do the work for them.  In 1979 Pierre took a leap of faith and founded “Photo Reduction de l’Outouais”, which would later become AMS Imaging Inc., and started offering those services.

Pierre is a strong believer in building long-lasting client relationships and takes pride in the fact that clients reach out to AMS Imaging Inc. when they have needs or are faced with a challenge.  He has built the business on being a problem solver and being able to help find solutions.  What started as a small side business grew into a much larger company over the years.  For over 40 years Pierre has led the company with strong work ethic and entrepreneurial vision.

His continued consulting and guidance will ensure that long-standing relationships are maintained and that the legacy of AMS and all that it stands for continues.  As he transitions to retirement, he is looking forward to concentrating on golf and curling, doing carpentry in his workshop and spending time with friends and family at his cottage on Big Rideau Lake.
